Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a kitchen, preferably in sushi or Japanese cuisine
ability to work full time or part time in Tomball, TX
knowledge of food safety regulations
strong leadership abilities
effective communication skills
ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

Experience in sushi preparation
leadership and team management skills
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to maintain high food quality and presentation
strong communication and interpersonal skills

previous experience as a chef or head chef

Job Duties

Effective management of staff
facilitate a stable, orderly, and reliable work environment
evaluate menu and adjust as needed
uphold food quality and presentation standards
ensure kitchen follows proper storage, labeling, food preparation, and safety protocols
collaborate with waitstaff
be responsible for kitchen culture and best practices
build your kitchen team through interviewing, hiring, providing performance improvement, and disciplinary action
assist in preparation and crafting of high quality sushi rolls
maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and complying with health code
learn and become proficient and efficient in our sushi menu
