Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and work 50 to 55 hours per week
  • Proficient in managing food costs, inventory, and labor scheduling
  • Knowledgeable of company policies and procedures including corrective actions
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of operations and leadership experience in food service
  • Excellent basic math skills including cash register and POS operation
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the restaurant's predominant language(s)
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards
  • Experience in training and developing kitchen staff
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Lead all kitchen functions including food purchasing, storage and inventory
  • Ensure adherence to Snooze quality, methods, safety and sanitation standards
  • Train all kitchen staff in cooking methods, preparation, presentation, portion control, and cleanliness
  • Efficiently staff and schedule kitchen to maintain labor costs and facilitate production
  • Collaborate closely with Front of House to ensure seamless service and address guest feedback
  • Assist with opening and closing duties in both Front and Heart of House
  • Maintain quality standards through regular tastings and prompt issue resolution
