About the Front Desk Agent Role: HYATT House San Ramon is currently seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring guests receive outstanding service from the moment they check in until their departure. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs in a timely and welcoming manner, handling room bookings both in person and over the phone, and addressing guest inquiries regarding the hotel’s rooms, amenities, rates, and any special requests.

Job Requirements

  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions

Job Duties

  • Checking in and checking out of all hotel guests in a timely, welcoming fashion

  • Connecting with other departments in the hotel to ensure accommodations are running smoothly
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Answer telephones promptly and provide accurate information
  • Provide local information and assistance to guests
  • Maintain a courteous, attentive, and efficient service attitude at all times
