The Golf Course Attendant Events position is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are customer-focused and versatile. The role involves coordinating facility rentals, special events, and banquet operations at the golf course. Serving as the primary point of contact for event clients, the attendant is responsible for managing reservations, preparing rental agreements, collecting fees, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring successful event execution. Key responsibilities include conducting facility tours, maintaining event schedules and records, coordinating with staff, vendors, and contractors, and providing on-site support during events. This role also assists with event setup and breakdown, monitors events for compliance with facility policies, and delivers exceptional customer service to event organizers and guests.
In addition to event coordination, the Golf Course Attendant supports pro shop operations and food and beverage services. This hybrid role works between the pro shop and food and beverage areas, providing front-line service by managing tee times, processing transactions, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining clean and organized facilities. The attendant handles cash and operates point-of-sale systems accurately while assisting with merchandise sales and maintaining retail displays. The position primarily works evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours as needed to support scheduled events and may be required to assist outdoors during tournaments and special events. Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, the attendant performs tasks with moderate independence and is distinguished from other classifications by its responsibility for cash handling and inventory control without administrative duties.
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times. The position demands physical capabilities such as standing for extended periods, light to moderate lifting, and working in varied indoor and outdoor environments. The Golf Course Attendant Events is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking a role that combines customer service, event management, and food and beverage operations within a community-oriented setting at a competitive pay rate of $16.43 per hour.
