The General Manager-Correctional Food Service position, located in Miami, Florida, is a full-time onsite role within Summit's Corrections segment. This key leadership role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated general manager to oversee a skilled team of food service employees, ensuring that every guest receives a healthy and delicious meal. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for planning, organizing, and overseeing activities and systems in the dining service and nutrition departments within correctional facilities. The General Manager functions as the administrative liaison, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards.

As the leader of the food service operations, the General Manager assumes responsibility for budget development and adherence, menu development, food preparation, and service quality. Supervising and facilitating staff development are also critical aspects of this role, requiring strong leadership and communication skills to drive team performance and achieve operational goals. The compensation for this role can reach up to $125,000 annually, dependent upon experience and qualifications.   • Assuming responsibility for budget development and compliance, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, and preparation and service of food
