Job Requirements
- 2+ years of General Manager experience in a Select Service Hotel or 4+ years as an Assistant General Manager
- Proficiency in computer and office software including email, spreadsheets, and databases
- Experience with hotel information and accounting systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with ownership, corporate staff, and sales teams
- Capability to analyze financial and operational reports
- Availability to work in Allentown location
- Commitment to Crestline Hotels & Resorts’ core success measures and customer service initiatives
Job Qualifications
- Previous 2+ years of General Manager experience within a busy Select Service Hotel or 4+ years as an Assistant General Manager
- Experience with premium hotel brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG highly preferred
- Proficiency with hotel information systems and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
- Strong computer and office skills including effective email communication and data analysis using spreadsheets and databases
- Proven leadership ability in managing multi-million dollar hotel operations
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Duties
- Focus on Crestline's key success measures such as Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction to improve performance
- Develop and implement a staff optimization plan within the first 30 days to ensure leaders and associates are fully prepared to deliver exceptional service
- Build and maintain relationships with hotel ownership and corporate staff within the first 30 days
- Establish positive relationships with all sales personnel including onsite Sales, Regional Director of Sales, and corporate Sales & Marketing Leadership
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution on the hotel floor in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor and manage the hotel’s operational and financial performance for sustainable growth
- Maximize associate potential through coaching, training, and team development
