Job Requirements

  • At least six years of progressive work experience in a leadership position in food service management
  • Proven experience in financial management and controls
  • Advanced skills in math and financial management, such as budgeting, labor, and food cost controls
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in San Francisco, California
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • At least six years of progressive work experience in a leadership position in food service management
  • Proven experience in financial management and controls
  • Advanced skills in math and financial management, such as budgeting, labor, and food cost controls
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field, or equivalent related work experience
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing all activities and systems in the dining service and nutrition departments
  • Functioning as the liaison in all administrative roles within the budget
  • Assuming responsibility for budget development and compliance, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, and preparation and service of food
  • Supervising staff and facilitating staff development
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Managing labor and food cost controls
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance dining service quality
