Job Requirements

Must hold a valid drivers license and have reliable mode of transportation
required to drive for company business as needed
proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel programs
proficient in e-mail communication and management of online and printed data sources
ability to learn and train others on business management programs associated with group and event management, invoice processing, staff scheduling, shift note and reporting portal, reservation management, inventory program, online ordering, and human resources portal
knowledge of accounting and financial management principles with focus on budgeting, forecasting and analyzing revenue goals
proficient in cash handling, banking procedures, systems controls and financial oversights
must speak and read English with a high level of fluency
use discretion and exercise good judgment
ability to work quickly and accurately independently and as part of a team
physically able to lift and move at least twenty-five pounds consistently and maintain standing mobility for long periods
able to see continually and use fine manipulation skills
able to tolerate occasional exposure to extreme temperatures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma required
two or four-year college degree appreciated
minimum three years prior upper-level management experience as assistant general manager or general manager in full-service upscale restaurant required
experience serving drinks and food, bartending, and catering in a fast-paced, casual or upscale restaurant or food service establishment
passion for the hospitality industry and standards of scratch-cooking and farm-to-table menus
knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and familiarity with standard drink recipes, food and beverage costing formulas, and inventory procedures and controls
proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
proficient in email communication and management of data sources
preferably experienced with GoogleDocs and Toast POS system

Job Duties

Use a hands-on approach to training and development of approximately 50 team members
work alongside staff of all levels and abilities to support, coach and mentor
develop and foster a positive work environment and monitor the performance of staff members
maintain a high level of guest contact, personal interaction and support throughout service hours
ensure all guidelines, policies and procedures are adhered to and applied consistently, including human resources, health and safety, alcohol and food handling compliance
maintain aesthetic appearance, cleanliness, and safety of all guest areas and equipment
analyze sales data, menu mix, seating arrangements by meal period, labor reports, individual staff sales performance and turn-times for revenue potential
proficiently manage administrative tasks, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email communication, GoogleDocs and Toast POS system
oversee payroll processing and manage online and printed data sources
