Job Description

Moxies is a renowned restaurant located in Dallas, TX, specifically at 100 Crescent Ct, Ste 140. Established in 1993, Moxies has built a strong reputation as a vibrant and inclusive dining destination known for its exceptional food and beverage offerings, modern ambiance, and dedication to outstanding customer service. As a company, Moxies prides itself on creating a great place to work for its entire team by fostering a fun yet professional work environment. The organization is committed to providing flexible scheduling, excellent earning opportunities, and comprehensive benefits to support its employees. The restaurant places strong emphasis on employee development, hospitality, and customer engagement, making it a preferred establishment for both guests and staff alike.

The Server role at Moxies is integral to the overall dining experience as servers act as the primary point of contact between guests and the restaurant's kitchen and bar teams. Servers are responsible for ensuring that each guest feels welcomed, understood, and valued throughout their visit. This includes personally greeting guests and recognizing repeat customers by name, preferences, and special needs, thereby creating a personalized dining experience that encourages repeat visits. In this role, servers must have a solid knowledge of the restaurant's menu, including detailed understanding of food items, preparation methods, and presentation styles, allowing them to confidently describe the menu and highlight special dishes to guests.

Additionally, servers are expected to be well-versed in the restaurant’s beverage offerings, including knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor brands, as well as the ingredients for popular cocktails, appropriate glassware selections, garnishing techniques, and pricing details. Server responsibilities also include adhering to all alcoholic beverage laws, company policies, and regulations to ensure responsible service and maintain a safe environment. Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area is a crucial component of the position, helping to deliver a pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Beyond the operational tasks, Moxies is looking for servers who bring passion and enthusiasm to the role—those who excel in providing hospitable experiences, connecting with guests, and building lasting relationships that foster guest loyalty. The position requires a friendly, upbeat, outgoing, and positive demeanor, with a strong focus on social interaction and eagerness to learn more about food and beverage service. Certified training is a must, as applicants are required to present valid TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) and Food Handler’s certificates upon hiring.

Working at Moxies offers many benefits including a flexible work schedule managed online, a 40% discount on all food and non-alcoholic beverages, and full-time employees being eligible for premium medical insurance with the company contributing 50% of the cost. Dental and vision plans are also available at affordable rates. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, enjoy engaging with people, and want to be part of a collaborative and thriving restaurant team, Moxies provides an ideal environment to grow your career.
