Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcohol
- completion of required state or local alcohol training and certification
- completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training
- current ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- food handlers card where applicable
- completion or in progress of management certification program
- SDS trained
- meet physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 60 lbs
- comply with all health and safety laws and standards
- strong organizational skills
- ability to manage inventory and labor costs
- good communication skills
- ability to respond to guest complaints
- ability to perform minor repairs and oversee maintenance
- valid legal work authorization
Job Qualifications
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent two years management or supervisory position with kitchen experience in restaurants or VIP/luxury theatre concept preferred
- two years of theatre experience with recommendation from a supervisor if no restaurant or VIP/luxury experience
- must be of legal age to sell and serve alcohol and complete required state or local training and certification
- completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training
- good public speaking skills
- effective communication in oral and written form
- fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
- ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
- ability to identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions
- experience with PC platforms and basic office programs
- capable of mechanical tasks as necessary
- effective interpersonal skills
- ability to set goals and priorities

- ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen
Job Duties
- Regular and consistent attendance
- in charge of food costs
- responsible for kitchen inventory
- keeping up with the organizing of the kitchen
- in control of labor
- in charge of hiring kitchen team
- upholding and administering all Regal policies and brand standards
- ensure all cash management policies and procedures are adhered to
- monitor risk management related to employee and guest safety, loss prevention, food and alcohol handling, emergency situations, and accident reporting
- comply with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards
- adhere and maintain all Health Department rules and regulations
- responsible for kitchen maintenance including small repairs
- train kitchen staff and cross-train as needed
- ensure required alcohol certification and training are current
- properly administering all paperwork and upholding company policies
- ensure facilities are cleaned and maintained to Regal standards
- schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances
- optimize profits by maintaining strict production controls
- maintain accurate inventory controls for food, beverage, and janitorial supplies
- order supplies based on shifting demand
- control inventory, shortages, and spoilage levels
- complete daily kitchen logs
- ensure guest satisfaction by greeting and addressing concerns
- count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts
- keep updated on recipe changes
- measure and assemble ingredients
- cook variety of foods
- ensure food and beverage items meet Regal standards
- expedite food from kitchen
- perform all staff positions as required
- collaborate with managers and cooks
- properly store food items
- rotate stock
- restock kitchen for shifts
- conduct and assess inventory
- read and follow standardized recipes
- strong knowledge of food handling procedures
- clean and sanitize prep area and kitchen
- maintain clean as you go
- comply with dress code
- maintain personal hygiene
- abide by federal and state laws regarding breaks and meals
- handle lost and found items per policy
- complete or in progress management certification
- SDS trained
- obtain food handlers card and ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- report damages and suspicious activity
- understand Regal Operations Manual
- complete training on sexual harassment and discrimination
