OGX is currently seeking a Front of House Manager to oversee the Retail and Food & Beverage operations at The FRIENDS Experience in New York. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the delivery of world-class commercial products and guest services in a fast-paced, entertainment-driven environment. The position offers an annual salary range of $62,400 to $67,000, reflecting the experience and leadership skills expected. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, leading a team of supervisors and frontline staff, and maintaining high standards across both retail and café operations.
In this role, the Front of House Manager will play a critical part in enhancing guest experiences by implementing and promoting hospitality policies and maintaining the venue’s prime condition. They will lead by example with hands-on involvement in operational tasks and team leadership, fostering an engaging and positive workplace environment that motivates staff and creates memorable visitor interactions. With a focus on accountability and excellent service delivery, this manager will coach and develop employees while ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.

Job Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience in the operation of a successful revenue-generating restaurant, cafe, or retail shop
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid NYS food handlers certificate
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid FDNY S-95 certificate
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Implement, train, and promote guest experience policies within the venue
- Ensure property is well maintained and in working order
- Schedule team members in the Cafe and Retail shop
- Recruit, interview, and hire commercial staff
- Assist in staff training and creation of reference materials
- Enforce rules and uphold accountability within the commercial team
- Oversee procurement and maintain optimal stock levels
- Manage inventory and conduct stock audits
- Enforce food safety regulations and conduct inspections
- Develop strategies to maximize revenue and analyze sales data
- Manage Cost of Goods to meet budget
- Ensure compliance with local health regulations
- Collaborate on seasonal drink menu creation
- Manage retail stock ordering with Retail Buyer
- Conduct monthly retail inventory counts
- Maintain clean and organized retail space
- Develop sales strategies and incentives
- Monitor third party vendors and operators
- Implement store layout updates
- Assist with company projects and any assigned duties
