The role of Front Desk Manager at Chartwell Hospitality is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the Front Desk operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Your leadership will be integral to achieving the profit goals of the establishment by expertly managing daily revenue and expenses, minimizing losses, and maximizing profit.

As Front Desk Manager, you will attend to special guest and group needs with confident graciousness, resolving complex issues that require tact and skill. You will create and nurture an environment that attracts motivated individuals eager to learn, excel, and grow within the company. Your ability to empower and coach your team throughout their employment lifecycle will be essential to maintaining a high level of staff engagement and performance. Additionally, you will act as Manager on Duty when required, ensuring that all operational aspects are well-managed during your shift.

This position demands a strong foundation in hospitality industry knowledge, supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills. You will be expected to handle cash and credit transactions proficiently, operate office equipment, and use Microsoft Office and Excel effectively. Job Requirements

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent education or experience
  • Two to three years in a related hotel company position
  • Discipline-specific hospitality industry knowledge
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash or credit transactions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Knowledge of general office equipment and cash register operation

  • Lead a diverse team by modeling the way, by empowering, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle
  • Act as Manager on Duty when duty calls
