Job Duties
- Greets guests and checks them into hotel following established procedures including collecting necessary information and issuing room keys
- responds to guest questions in person or over phone courteously and professionally providing information about directions dining entertainment hotel services and safety
- fulfills guest needs ensuring enjoyable stays and assists with reservations for dining entertainment or transportation
- resolves guest complaints utilizing best judgment or referring to management
- answers hotel phone calls and takes messages assuring receipt
- makes and confirms reservations assuring room availability and understanding of cancellation policies
- checks guests out computing bills collecting payment and providing required paperwork
- maintains front desk area clean and orderly
- possesses thorough knowledge of hotel and local attractions
- completes paperwork maintains files and performs clerical duties such as filing photocopying faxing and mailing
- performs duties assigned by management
