We are currently seeking full-time Food Service Supervisors to join our dynamic Food Services Team. This role is a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to step up and demonstrate leadership while helping to coordinate and oversee daily operations alongside a manager. The Food Service Supervisor will play a critical role in managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a smooth workflow in the food service environment. Responsibilities include producing work schedules, maintaining food quality and safety, supervising employees, and facilitating effective communication within the team. The position requires a hands-on leader who can mentor others, manage inventory, and maintain compliance with health regulations. You will also be expected to fill in for absent employees as needed and participate in occasional night and weekend catering events.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Must complete a sanitation course if not already completed
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry food supplies
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- Completion of a sanitation course either before or during first year
- Knowledge of operating an efficient, cost-effective program
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
- Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
- Strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- Direct daily activities
- Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies
- Ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
- Maintain serving schedules and serve food as per menu specifications
- Maintain sanitary conditions following health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate weekly inventory
- Prepare orders to ensure accurate production
- Supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth and teamwork
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Train and mentor food service workers
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs
- Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- Perform preventative maintenance checklist
- Recommend equipment replacement
- Multi-task efficiently
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
- Fill in for absent employees as necessary
- Manage daily catering events and ensure timely delivery
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events
- Attend food service meetings
- Maintain communication with staff
- Perform cashier duties as needed
- Promote good public relations
