The role being offered is for a Tech responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of carpet and hard surface floors. Ideal for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, this position requires reliability and some experience with floor care equipment. No formal education such as a high school diploma, GED, or college degree is mandatory, and on-the-job training will be provided, making it accessible for candidates with limited previous experience. The Tech will operate a variety of floor care machinery including auto scrubbers, burnishers, swing machines, and extractors while adhering to established safety and quality standards. Responsibilities also encompass the proper handling of chemical cleaners to prevent damage to building surfaces, maintaining clear and effective communication with supervisors and clients, and complying with all safety, security, and regulatory policies. This position plays a crucial part in upholding the aesthetic and functional integrity of client facilities, ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained environments.

  • Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments including ten-year work history if available
  • No experience required and on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Job Duties

  • Operate all floor care equipment including auto scrubbers, burnishers, swing machines, and extractors
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
  • Notify manager regarding minor or major repairs or additions to building systems
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
  • Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed to clean areas
  • Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors
  • Gather and empty trash
