- Previous bartending or mixology experience preferred

Job Duties
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Vic's River Grill
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard recipes
- Accept guest payments, process credit card charges, and make changes when necessary
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Clean and sterilize glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Balance cash receipts
- Record drink orders accurately and immediately
- Take steps to limit problems related to guests' excessive drinking
- Stock the bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies
- Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer beverage questions
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or guests
- Clean bars, work areas, and tables
- Reset tables in the bar area
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Serve snacks or food items to bar guests
- Slice and pit fruit and prepare other garnishes for drinks
- Ask loud or obnoxious guests to leave or assist management in removal
- Arrange and maintain bottles and glasses attractively
- Maintain cleanliness in all bar areas
- Recognize regular guests
- Assist in restocking bar inventory
- Report equipment problems and maintenance issues
