With a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Scholastic creates opportunities for all children to succeed and thrive through tailored educational content and inclusive initiatives. The company is renowned for its broad portfolio of award-winning books, classroom magazines, and digital learning tools, reaching millions of students worldwide. Scholastic's Book Fair programs are at the heart of its mission to encourage children to discover the joy of reading while bringing communities together around shared educational experiences. These fairs are held in schools nationwide and offer a dynamic, interactive environment that makes books accessible to students of all ages and backgrounds.

This role involves working directly with schools to drive fair bookings, maximize event performance, and cultivate long-term partnerships that enhance student learning outcomes. As a Fair Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a defined territory, overseeing a portfolio of school accounts, and holding accountability for key performance metrics such as fair count, revenue, and revenue per fair (RPF). This position blends sales expertise with event leadership responsibilities, requiring you to close deals, grow accounts, and manage the execution of Book Fairs as impactful, revenue-generating events.

This full-time, hourly role operates remotely, allowing you to work from home while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a strong ability to manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The position offers a base hourly wage ranging from $22 to $26, complemented by a comprehensive sales compensation program that includes seasonal and annual incentives. Additionally, Scholastic provides a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off encompassing vacation, personal, and sick days, a 50% discount on Scholastic merchandise, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and the potential for summers off.

Joining Scholastic means contributing to a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping children become lifelong readers and learners. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive sales environment where your work directly impacts educational outcomes and supports communities in building stronger readers.
