Job Description

Crystal Mountain is Washington state's largest ski resort and the premier destination for skiing, snowboarding, and outdoor adventures in the Pacific Northwest. Located in the breathtaking National Forest with stunning views of Mount Rainier, Crystal Mountain offers an unparalleled mountain experience year-round. As part of the Alterra Mountain Company, Crystal Mountain belongs to a collection of world-class mountain resorts dedicated to delivering exceptional adventures and best-in-class guest service. Their values focus on empowerment, authenticity, collaboration, and purpose, cultivating a close-knit community fueled by passion for the outdoors and the mountain lifestyle.

This seasonal role as an Expeditor/Food Runner is a vital position within the Food and Beverage department of Crystal Mountain. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Expeditor serves as the essential communication link between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. This role ensures that each dish is accurately prepared, correctly plated, and delivered promptly to guests, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. The position supports efficient workflow during busy service periods, assisting servers when needed, and maintaining a clean and organized expo line. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with a starting pay of $17.13 plus tips. Prospective team members will find themselves working in a dynamic mountain environment where community and adventure go hand in hand.

Crystal Mountain not only offers a job but a lifestyle where employees can "work and play in the mountains". Staff enjoy numerous perks such as free Alterra season passes, discounted access to partner resorts, ski and snowboard rental and lesson discounts, exclusive employee events including night skiing, and opportunities for advancement within the company. Eligible positions also benefit from employee housing, paid time off, group health insurance, and a 401K plan with an immediate match and vesting. Whether you are looking to escape urban life, grow your skill set, or pursue a long-term career in the ski industry, Crystal Mountain encourages you to join their team and grow your mountain roots.
