Job Requirements
- minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of three years of sous chef experience
- minimum of three years of catering experience
- valid and reliable transportation
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication skills including responsiveness via phone and email
- availability to work flexible hours primarily including nights and weekends
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- current ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain

Job Duties
- enforce and maintain all kitchen standards and procedures as directed by the Executive Chef
- read event orders to prepare and execute catered events
- learn and manage all prep and roles of the a la carte menu stations
- maintain ServSafe certification and uphold all Office of Food Protection Health and Safety standards
- perform duties of expo or lead line cook during service
- checkout line cooks and close down kitchen after service or events
- participate in feature menu item creation and execution
- complete all orders after detailed inventory walkthrough
- attend weekly event meetings and other required staff meetings
- assist leadership in maintaining budgetary labor and food cost goals
