Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum five years culinary experience
  • two years experience as a Sous Chef
  • strong leadership abilities
  • capability to manage kitchen operations
  • proficiency in budget management
  • ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • excellent interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of progressive culinary experience preferred
  • at least two years in a Sous Chef role
  • ability to work calmly under pressure
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • experience managing culinary budgets
  • knowledge of scheduling and labor cost control
  • excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
  • manage private parties and special events
  • supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving
  • ensure all menu items are prepared to the highest standards
  • run the kitchen effectively in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • manage culinary budget and labor costs
  • lead and develop a cohesive kitchen team
