Job Requirements

  • prior culinary experience within a restaurant, lounge or other hospitality-focused venue
  • supervisory culinary background with demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends and delegate with confidence
  • excellent mentoring/leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain highest culinary standards
  • strong coaching skills
  • passion for food and service

Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience in culinary services
  • minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • excellent mentoring, leadership and communication skills
  • ability to stay current with new culinary trends
  • strong coaching skills
  • passion for food and service

Job Duties

  • be responsible for menu compliance, cooking, food production, food quality/presentation, safety/sanitation
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems (Excel Spreadsheets)
