Levy is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef to be based at the legendary Fox Theatre located in downtown Detroit, a vibrant cultural hub that also supports multiple premier amphitheaters such as Pine Knob Music Theatre, Meadow Brook, and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre. These venues rank among the best in the country, enhancing the culinary and entertainment experience for a wide array of guests. This role is an outstanding opportunity for a driven culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about creating outstanding cuisine while leading a talented kitchen team. As an Executive Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in upholding Levy's standards of culinary excellence, contributing to both the operational and creative facets of food service.

The Executive Sous Chef at Levy does more than just oversee food preparation; this role involves mentoring and training culinary staff to foster growth and development, maintaining rigorous food safety and sanitation standards, and managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. In addition, you will execute recipes with precision to ensure every dish exceeds guest expectations and supports the company’s reputation for quality and innovation. Scheduling and forecasting team needs will be part of your operational responsibilities, along with ordering supplies and equipment tailored to the specific business volume and event requirements. The role also involves partnership with the Director of Operations to ensure efficient preventive maintenance planning, thereby guaranteeing smooth kitchen operations.
