Job Description
The Sonesta Hotels is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to oversee and maintain standard procedures for all restaurant, bar, and banquet operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency in food preparation and presentation. The hotel is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality to guests, team members, and the community.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of culinary supervisory or management experience in a high-volume kitchen setting
- degree from an internationally recognized culinary institution preferred
- highly developed knowledge of various culinary styles and mastery of all line level cooking stations
- detail-oriented and motivated for proactive work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent verbal, written, communication, and leadership skills
- food handling certificate
- Culinary degree or relative experience
- ServSafe certification
- experience managing in a union environment required
