Job Description
This role is for an Executive Chef at a growing hotel company. The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of the kitchen and kitchen personnel, including recipes, menu plans, portion control, food quality, inventory control, budgeting, and team member supervision. Responsibilities also include interviewing, hiring, and training kitchen personnel, researching market trends for menu development, prioritizing and assigning tasks, managing supplies, and ensuring staff attendance.
Job Requirements
- Degree from a reputable Culinary School or College
- at least 3 years' experience as a Sous Chef
- knowledge of food safety procedures and professional cooking
- knife handling skills
