Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years management experience
  • minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • ServSafe certification
  • knowledge of HAACP procedures
  • strong culinary background
  • ability to manage staff effectively
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • proficiency with computer applications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years management experience
  • minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • strong culinary background with ability to produce and present high quality food
  • menu planning experience with understanding of current culinary trends
  • strong management skills
  • proficient computer skills
  • highly organized and detail-focused
  • ServSafe certified with knowledge of HAACP
  • Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.) is a plus

Job Duties

  • Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
  • manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
  • oversee procurement and purchasing
  • create menus based on client needs
  • implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
  • create interpersonal relationships with clients
  • ensure food safety compliance and maintain quality standards
