Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years management experience
  • minimum of 2 years culinary or food service experience
  • strong culinary background in catering and banquets
  • ability to lead and train diverse teams
  • focus on food safety and sanitation
  • experience managing food and labor costs
  • knowledge of food allergens and special dietary needs
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • strong analytical and financial skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years management experience
  • minimum of 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, or institutional services
  • strong culinary background with catering and banquet experience
  • emphasis on food presentation, quality, execution, menu design, and implementation
  • excellent customer service skills
  • proven leadership and team supervision experience
  • understanding of food allergens and special dietary needs
  • ServSafe certification and culinary degree preferred
  • strong financial and analytical skills

Job Duties

  • Follow culinary trends and innovate using local sustainable food sources
  • translate ideas into unique menu and recipe programs to advance culinary experience
  • manage and communicate effectively with culinary staff, catering staff, and management teams
  • provide hands-on leadership in daily operations
  • train catering staff in cooking techniques, plate presentation, quality, and safety
  • manage food costs, labor, and controllable expenses with proven results
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
