Executive Chef — Feerma Mediterranean Grill & Bar

📍 Downtown Larkspur, Marin County, CA
Opening Late Summer / Early Fall 2026

Feerma is seeking a passionate, creative, and highly organized Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision of our new upscale casual Mediterranean restaurant and bar in the heart of Marin County.

Rooted in North African and Mediterranean traditions with a California farm-to-table approach, Feerma is built around fire, hospitality, fresh local ingredients, and the art of gathering. This is an opportunity to help shape a destination restaurant from the ground up.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a leader who:

  • Has strong Mediterranean or live-fire cooking experience
  • Can create and execute a high-quality seasonal menu
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Leads with professionalism, discipline, and positivity
  • Understands food cost, labor management, and kitchen systems
  • Is passionate about hospitality and team culture
  • Wants to build something meaningful long-term

Responsibilities

  • Lead all kitchen operations
  • Develop seasonal menus and specials
  • Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff
  • Maintain food quality and consistency
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
  • Ensure health and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with ownership on culinary direction and growth

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as Executive Chef or CDC
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience opening restaurants is a major plus
  • Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine preferred
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
