Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in kitchen management or executive chef role
- current ServSafe certification
- experience in high-volume hospitality or entertainment settings
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- ability to stand, walk, and lift moderately heavy objects
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- legal authorization to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
- bachelor's or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- extensive experience in banquet style events
- experience managing and developing teams
- current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage profit and loss
- excellent organizational skills
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and adjust as necessary
- work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including preparation and service of food and beverage
- assist with cooking when needed
- estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
- schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- develop key staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meets company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- implement and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
- report critical issues to the General Manager
