Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary education preferred
  • Minimum five years of culinary experience
  • At least two years in a sous chef or similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must comply with food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
  • manage private parties and special events coordination
  • supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving processes
  • ensure culinary staff produce menu items to highest standards
  • run kitchen operations professionally in absence of executive chef
  • manage culinary budget and labor including scheduling and overtime
  • lead and motivate a cohesive culinary team
