Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • previous culinary leadership experience preferred
  • basic computer proficiency
  • must be able to obtain ServSafe Manager Certification within two weeks of start date
  • minimum age of 18 years
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work collaboratively with management and team members

Job Qualifications

  • previous leadership experience in culinary preparation and cooking preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • culinary degree or higher education preferred
  • basic computer skills required
  • data entry experience preferred
  • ability to secure ServSafe Manager Certification within two weeks of employment
  • must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • plan and execute rotating menus based on resident choices and feedback
  • create special dining experiences for residents and guests
  • utilize different cooking styles ensuring appealing food presentation
  • gather and respond to daily resident feedback
  • support recruitment, selection, scheduling and training of culinary and dining team members
  • foster a culture aligned with core values of respect, kindness & compassion, honesty, and service excellence
