Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years culinary experience
  • At least 3 years experience in similar capacity in modern Asian concept environment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification highly desirable
  • Exceptional culinary skills with creative and technical portfolio
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing kitchen budgets
  • Proficiency in menu planning recipe development and cost control
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring large teams

Job Duties

  • Develop and manage kitchen budget including food cost labor cost and overheads
  • Evaluate products to assure quality price and related goods are met
  • Monitor and control inventory minimize food waste implement cost control measures
  • Oversee basic kitchen operations including ordering food and supplies tracking sales and costs monitoring labor and scheduling
  • Collaborate with purchasing to negotiate contracts and optimize supplier agreements
  • Analyze financial and cost variance reports implement corrective actions
  • Design innovative seasonal and customer-focused menus in line with culinary concept
  • Stay updated on new techniques and trends in dining
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends consumer requirements and availability of novel ingredients
  • Ensure high standards of food quality presentation and consistency
  • Engage with guests for feedback continuously improve offerings
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction as reflected in reviews and feedback
  • Develop standard recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation
  • Exercise portion control and assist in establishing menu selling prices
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring smooth execution
  • Ensure high standards of sanitation cleanliness and safety
  • Establish and maintain regular cleaning and maintenance schedule
  • Lead kitchen audits ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
