- Minimum education requirement - associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum management experience - two years
- minimum functional experience - one year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- ServSafe certification
- working knowledge of HAACP

- strong culinary background with ability to produce and present high-quality food
- menu planning experience and understanding of current culinary trends
- strong management skills and experience
- proficient computer skills, highly organized and detail-focused
- proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems independently
- ServSafe certified with working knowledge of HAACP
- Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.) credential a plus
Job Duties
- Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for the hospital
- manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
- procurement and purchasing
- create menus based on client needs
- implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
