Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional catering experience
  • At least 2 years in an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef capacity
  • Off-premise catering experience including corporate events, weddings, private functions
  • Proven ability to lead high-volume events in dynamic environments
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and leadership under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead all culinary operations for off-premise catering events, ensuring adherence to quality, consistency, and brand standards
  • Manage back-of-house staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Collaborate with the Catering Manager to align logistics, timelines, and service expectations for each event
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards across all mobile and off-site kitchens
  • Oversee event execution including packing, transport, setup, service, and breakdown
  • Ensure timely production and execution of all menu items per recipe and presentation specifications
  • Maintain event inventory, monitor food cost, and minimize waste
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at events, maintaining a polished and professional demeanor at all times
  • Proactively identify and address any culinary or operational issues during events
