As a full-time Event Manager with Saz's Hospitality Group, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable moments at some of the most exciting events throughout the greater Milwaukee area. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting where no two days are alike. From managing large-scale Brewers tailgates, elegant weddings, to major festivals like Summerfest and the State Fair, you will be the driving force behind flawless offsite catering events. Your leadership will guide multiple catering teams through each phase of event execution, ensuring smooth transitions from equipment loading, venue setup, service delivery, to final teardown.

As the on-site hero, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, guests, and vendors, overseeing every detail to exceed expectations. Interpreting Banquet Event Orders meticulously, you will coordinate with culinary teams to direct food preparation, plating, and presentation to guarantee a seamless service experience. The role also involves operational responsibilities such as transporting equipment and food to event locations using company vehicles, showcasing your versatility and drive.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of catering, event management, or hospitality experience, with 1+ year in a leadership role
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to stay cool under pressure
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable record
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to walk, stand and lift moderate weights for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead and inspire our catering teams through all phases of events – from loading trucks to setup to final teardown
  • Be the on-site hero for clients, guests, and vendors - ensuring every detail exceeds expectations
  • Execute flawless events by interpreting Banquet Event Orders and directing food prep, plating, and service
  • Drive the operation (literally!) by transporting equipment and food to event locations in company vehicles
