The company prides itself on offering upscale work environments and flexible scheduling options that enable employees to balance their professional and personal lives effectively. With operations that span multiple cities, including a strong presence in Dallas, Texas, Indeed Flex continues to grow by fostering inclusivity and supporting a diverse workforce.

The role of Event Line Cook with Indeed Flex involves working at clients' event worksites throughout Dallas, Texas. This position is primarily event-based with flexible scheduling, making it an excellent opportunity for cooks seeking variety in their work environment. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, dependent on experience and event type. Event Line Cooks will support private events such as weddings, galas, corporate functions, and other upscale celebrations.

As an Event Line Cook, you'll be expected to handle a wide range of culinary tasks across different event formats. This includes elegant plated wedding services requiring precision and attention to detail, as well as high-volume buffet and banquet-style events where speed and efficiency are paramount. The work demands maintaining consistency and food quality while working under the pressure of polished event settings. Candidates should have prior experience in prep or banquet cooking, especially within catering or events, along with developed knife skills and the stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Indeed Flex supports its Event Line Cooks with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, and disability coverage, alongside flexible scheduling and fast pay options such as same-day or next-day payment. The company fosters a professional yet supportive work culture where teamwork, reliability, and professionalism are highly valued. Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish are especially encouraged to apply, reflecting Indeed Flex's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

This position also requires adherence to strict food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards, ensuring that every event meets the highest quality expectations. Event Line Cooks will be responsible not only for executing menu items during events but also for maintaining organized and stocked workstations, as well as assisting with prep, breakdown, and post-event cleanup tasks. Due to the nature of the worksite environment, a proper kitchen uniform and non-slip shoes are mandatory, and candidates must hold a valid Food Handlers Card.

Indeed Flex is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to creating a workplace that values diversity and inclusion. The company actively welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including those with criminal records, and provides reasonable accommodations throughout the employment process. Hiring through Indeed Flex offers cooks an exceptional chance to build their careers in vibrant event settings while enjoying the flexibility and support of a leading staffing agency.
