Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Culinary school diploma preferred
- At least six months culinary experience in restaurant catering or employee dining room required
- Food Safety certified required
- Strong sanitation habits and attention to detail
- Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management
- Supervisory experience preferred

- National park experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary terms and practices
- Ability to prepare items and follow recipes
- Competency in cooking at all relevant kitchen stations

- Ability to recognize and communicate problems to management
- Supervisory experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide daily supervision and direction for EDR employees to prepare cook and serve food
- Create and monitor weekly shift schedules including breaks and lunches
- Train onboard and supervise EDR employees
- Requisition food supplies kitchen equipment and appliances based on future needs
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and menus
- Sample smell and observe food for quality taste and appearance
- Clean and inspect kitchen equipment appliances and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality
- Supervise station checklists check temperature logs attend counter meetings maintain signage
- Adhere to food safety guidelines including ServeSafe and HACCP
- Maintain awareness of safety issues and report to Executive Chef
- Perform other related duties as required
