Job Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalency
must possess English language skills sufficient to fully comprehend job assignments including ability to read, write and communicate in English fluently
must have reliable transportation
ability to stand and walk for extended hours
ability to perform repetitive wrist and finger movements
able to handle or feel objects
able to reach with hands and arms
able to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
able to work approximately 8 or more hours standing per day
able to lift 20 to 25 pounds rarely

Job Duties

Greets and seats guests
presents menus to guests
informs them of special catch and soups
treats all guests to ensure their complete satisfaction
takes names on a waiting list
runs the floor plan board
observes tables and tracks clean, dirty and occupied tables
takes guest information and quotes wait times
cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area
answers phone and questions about the menu and restaurant
interacts with guests upon arrival and departure
fills to-go orders if applicable
maintains restrooms during shift
sweeps foyer and front entrance frequently
performs other duties as directed
