Job Requirements

  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree preferably in Hotel/Restaurant or Business Administration
  • Minimum six years hotel management experience with at least two years in a similar role
  • Ability to provide and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
  • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended hours
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and maneuver equipment up to 250 lbs
  • Must maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required
  • Knowledge of safety and security policies
  • Ability to work varying schedules based on business needs
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Must have strong leadership capability

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel/Restaurant or Business Administration or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum six years of hotel management experience including two years in a similar capacity
  • Excellent leadership and customer relations skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS knowledge
  • Considerable knowledge of complex mathematical calculations and budgetary analysis
  • Ability to analyze, forecast data and ensure proper payroll and production control
  • Strong issue resolution and analytical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Job Duties

  • Lead the effective management of Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Engineering departments to maximize financial performance while maintaining quality standards and guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate and manage all hotel operations to achieve profitability, guest satisfaction, protect business assets, and maintain property condition
  • Direct revenue maximization through market analysis, business planning, and marketing participation
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing and yield management strategies to diversify revenue sources
  • Train and motivate staff to meet company quality standards
  • Set and monitor quarterly department goals and mobilize supervisory staff to achieve daily objectives
  • Encourage productivity and team spirit, ensure compliance with employment laws, and manage HR functions including hiring, training, counseling, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee sales, catering, and revenue management staff, actively engage in sales presentations and customer meetings
  • Monitor budgetary controls, communicate effectively across departments, resolve guest issues, ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA, and maintain property standards through capital improvements
