We are currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher is an essential member responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all cutlery, glassware, food preparation machines, and more. This role requires someone who is thorough and reliable, ensuring that the dishwashing station remains pristine and safe at all times. The Dishwasher will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes and utensils are cleaned and ready for use in a timely manner, thereby supporting the efficiency and hygiene standards of the restaurant. This position demands a strong work ethic and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and adapting to a hot and noisy work environment. Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for the entirety of a scheduled shift
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environments for extended periods
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, and move constantly within one area

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high volume restaurant is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a high volume working environment
  • Basic understanding of sanitation and safety standards
  • Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and lift heavy objects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Organize and clean all dirty dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, etc. into a dishwasher
  • Ensure that the water in the dishwasher is taken out on an hourly basis
  • Remove trash and garbage from the restaurant and dispose into the dumpster
  • Roll/unroll mats in preparation for floors to be cleaned
  • Maintain dishwashing station in clean and safe condition
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of utensils
  • Follow health and safety regulations strictly
