The role of Dishwasher is essential to the smooth operation of our kitchen and back-of-house activities. Dishwashers are responsible for cleaning restaurant equipment, including dishes, pans, storage containers, and prep materials, using a three-compartment sink system. This function is critical to ensuring health and safety standards are met and that the kitchen runs efficiently without interruptions due to lack of clean equipment. Furthermore, the dishwasher will assist with various back-of-house duties such as cutting potatoes and other prep tasks, replenishing prepped items to the kitchen line to support cooks, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • clean restaurant equipment including dishes, pans, storage containers, and prep materials using a 3 compartment sink
  • cut potatoes and assist with food prep tasks
  • bring prepped items up to the line to support kitchen staff
  • keep the work area clean and hazard free
  • ensure all cleaning processes comply with health and safety standards
  • assist with other back of house duties as needed
  • maintain organization in the kitchen storage areas
