Job Duties

  • Be on time and ready to work
  • Maintain and clean all china, glass, and silverware
  • Place all cookware, china, glass, and silverware in proper storage spaces
  • Organization and cleanliness of the space and dish machine over the entire shift including chemical levels, de-scale, and general cleaning
  • Remove all linen and garbage, replace the bags, and clean trash cans inside and out
  • Take out all compost bins, Soilutions, and beverage spill buckets at the end of every shift
  • Sweep and mop as needed during shift to maintain a safe, non-slip floor and during the close down of the stations
  • Buff all china so it is ready for service
  • Clean all windows inside and out in the kitchen spaces
  • Wash out and dry sinks as needed
  • Clean hoods, ovens, and stoves
  • Report any problems with equipment to the direct supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of mop/broom closets
  • Help in other areas of the kitchen such as dish pick-ups and restocks
  • Break down boxes for recycling and take any recycling out
  • Work clean and maintain your space
