With a strong emphasis on fostering a positive workplace that values diversity, inclusion, and well-being, Wingstop continues to expand its footprint across the country while maintaining its reputation for exceptional service and operational excellence.
The role of Director of Operations at Wingstop represents a pivotal leadership position tasked with overseeing a portfolio of restaurants to ensure top-tier operations across service, culture, and profitability. This role is designed for a seasoned leader who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and is deeply passionate about driving operational success through people development, strategic oversight, and hands-on engagement. The Director of Operations collaborates closely with senior leadership, including the VP of Operations and Managing Partners, to uphold and enhance brand standards, cultivating empowered and high-performing restaurant teams.
The Director of Operations manages up to seven District Managers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and consistent support to ensure alignment with company goals and operational expectations. This role demands strong leadership presence, especially during crucial business periods such as dinner hours and weekends, requiring active involvement to identify opportunities and resolve challenges in real time. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with all operational procedures and food safety standards to maintain superior health department ratings, leveraging data from the Corporate Scorecard and Smart Kitchen systems to track and elevate restaurant performance, and steering financial analysis to optimize sales and profitability. Additionally, the Director plays a key role in recruiting, training, and developing restaurant-level leaders, supporting new restaurant openings and rolling out initiatives aimed at enhancing employee retention and guest satisfaction.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, accompanied by comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401K retirement plans, as well as transportation and financial benefits. Wingstop’s commitment to its employees is reflected not only in its benefits but also in its inclusive workplace culture that respects and celebrates differences, ensuring equal opportunity and a harassment-free environment for all team members.
