The Executive Housekeeper role at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations throughout the resort. The Executive Housekeeper will lead and manage a dedicated housekeeping team to ensure that all guest rooms and public spaces are meticulously clean, sanitized, and well-maintained. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • at least five years of experience managing a team
  • no degree required
  • must possess a valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience managing a team
  • working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
  • knowledge of how to use material safety data sheets for cleaning solvents
  • must possess a valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeepers including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
  • maintain an inventory of supplies
  • order and distribute supplies and equipment
  • ensure that all reports, orders, and projects are completed
  • monitor and control expenses and payroll while ensuring proper resources are in place
  • conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
  • ability to drive company vehicles throughout the property
