Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- bachelor’s or associate’s degree in culinary arts preferred
- minimum of 5 years of food service management experience
- completed food safety training
- excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

Job Duties
- Develop and implement food service policies, procedures, and job descriptions
- plan menus and cycles based on resident preferences, cultural needs, and dietary guidelines
- monitor food quality, temperature, portion control, and presentation standards
- observe and support staff in food preparation, portioning, and service execution
- prepare meals, cook, and assist with daily kitchen operations as needed
- order food and chemical supplies
- receive and verify deliveries
- maintain food inventory and conduct monthly audits
- conduct regular quality assurance checks
- ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
- follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
- manage vendor relationships and food service agreements
- support scheduling, onboarding, and training of kitchen staff
- monitor monthly expenditures and manage budget performance
