The role of Dining Room Lead Server at Belmont Village Senior Living is a pivotal position that combines hands-on service with leadership responsibilities to ensure an exceptional dining experience for residents. As the Dining Room Lead Server, you will work closely with the dining room supervisor and fellow servers to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere during every meal and special event. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of prior experience as a restaurant server with knowledge of dining etiquette
  • excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • ability to efficiently multi-task, actively listen, and work collaboratively with team members
  • demonstrated leadership skills and a willingness to learn in a hands-on, hospitality-focused role

Job Duties

  • Supervise and support servers in the dining room manager's absence
  • deliver attentive, personalized service to assigned tables in our in-house restaurant
  • accurately take orders, respond to menu inquiries, and serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
  • ensure that orders are presented at the correct temperature and with appealing presentation and accuracy
  • prepare and set up the dining area for service, ensuring that all utensils, condiments, and drinks are readily available
  • collaborate with residents and various departments to plan and execute special dining events and celebrations
  • assist the dining room manager with the room service operations
  • maintain a clean and organized dining area and ensure guest needs are met throughout each meal service
