Job Requirements

  • Servsafe certification within six months of employment
  • customer service experience working directly with customers
  • supervisory experience in a large food service organization with oversight of purchasing functions
  • experience with food service inventory data input and review
  • experience with schedule input and/or scheduling systems
  • leadership experience
  • performance management experience
  • intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet, relational database programs, and scheduling
  • demonstrated professional and caring communication with customers
  • understanding of menu terminology, forecasting and food service ordering
  • knowledge of basic food terminology, sanitation/safety standards, portion control, and general food services
  • knowledge of federal, state, county, and university sanitation and safety regulations including California Retail Food Code, HACCP, The Joint Commission, Title XXII, and OSHA
