The Kith Treats Counter Associate position is a full-time role based at the Treats Shop in Soho. Earning $18.00 per hour plus commission and tip eligibility, this role is perfect for those who are personable, passionate about desserts, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience. The associate acts as the face of Kith Treats, engaging with both new and returning customers to ensure their visits are memorable and satisfying. Key responsibilities include mastering plating and presentation techniques to create visually captivating desserts, maintaining industrial kitchen equipment cleanliness, and effectively managing inventory during downtimes. Associates are also expected to proficiently execute the brand’s signature dessert swirl and communicate inventory needs proactively to management. Beyond daily duties, they assist with housekeeping tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and trash collection to uphold the shop's overall cleanliness and operational standards. Additionally, they may participate in special projects including physical inventories and merchandising visual initiatives. This role requires flexible availability for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic needs of the business. Candidates should possess a valid Food Handlers License and 1-2 years experience in food and beverage roles. Customer-facing experience and cash handling skills are preferred. Strong business math abilities, multitasking skills, and a capacity to lift up to 30 pounds are essential.
