Job Duties

  • Support global outside sales department through planning, execution, and follow-up of sales and educational seminars
  • Entertain customers and professionally demonstrate equipment using PowerPoint and AV tools
  • Execute in-field demonstrations for potential customers through travel to sales regions
  • Provide on-site culinary consultation to customers and sales teams to enhance confidence and advocate equipment solutions
  • Participate in trade shows demonstrating equipment capabilities and educating the industry
  • Conduct in-house food product testing to provide proof of concept
  • Evaluate menus to show equipment benefits and cost reductions
  • Maintain relationships with current customers
  • Create media for training and informing sales representatives
  • Provide timely reports to culinary and sales including market intelligence
  • Support engineering department through product testing and feature verification
  • Participate in product development offering real-world customer input
  • Validate concept or design requests from sales
  • Offer ideas to improve equipment usability
  • Support service department by communicating field issues and performing minor field tasks
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction
  • Support marketing by providing end-user insights and creating marketing tools
  • Utilize social media for community engagement and lead generation
  • Assist corporate communications in food photography shoots
  • Provide customer support via phone and email
  • Develop online training media and conduct on-site training for qualified customers
  • Consult on recipe, menu, and labor flow development
  • Support inside sales department training
  • Participate in cross-departmental teams including green initiatives and product aesthetics
  • Engage in continual improvement via industry meetings and kitchen staging
  • Develop new menu offerings for sales support
  • Support quality audits with culinary perspective
