The role in focus is with the JetBlue Lodge, a unique property situated within the Orlando International Airport campus. This 200-room full-service lodging facility complements the adjacent JetBlue Training Center. JetBlue Lodge boasts approximately 1,000 square feet of meeting space, a high-end cafe-style eatery, a bar/lounge, a grab-and-go option, and a variety of outdoor recreational facilities designed to foster guest interaction. The lodge serves multiple purposes by providing four-star accommodations and services to JetBlue new hires, ongoing pilot and crew training sessions, vendor partners, and company executives. It acts as a "Living Room" extension of JetBlue’s training campus, intended to facilitate socialization, communication, and the reinforcement of training lessons and company culture.
The Culinary Cook position at Pyramid Global Hospitality offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to develop and advance their skills in a professional kitchen environment. This role is ideal for motivated and creative candidates eager to collaborate with culinary leadership to design menus that emphasize seasonal ingredients and match the restaurant’s concept. The Cook will assist the Chef with food preparation and fabrication for multiple dining settings including the kitchen, cafeteria, banquet events, and fine dining experiences. This position involves active participation in ensuring consistent food quality, minimizing waste through cross-utilization of ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Working at JetBlue Lodge provides exposure to a world-class culinary team and the chance to learn various cooking procedures such as grilling, sautéing, and frying. The Cook will also gain experience using kitchen tools and equipment, managing workstations, and ensuring food safety and proper ingredient storage. - previous experience in a professional kitchen environment

Job Duties
- assist the chef in production and fabrication of food products for kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquet cooking, dining room, and fine dining
- maintain a passive leadership role in ensuring adequate production levels from the kitchen staff
- develop knowledge and skills in cooking procedures and methods such as grill, sauté, and fry
- prepare ingredients for cooking including chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
- keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- assume responsibility for the quality of ingredients
