- Prior experience working as a line cook or similar culinary role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to comply with food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cook
- Working knowledge of broiler, pantry, and sauté stations
- Previous country club or restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high culinary standards
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with any tasks requested while working at an efficient pace to keep up with business needs
- Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
- Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs
- Support a la carte and private event food production while maintaining consistent food preparation and plate presentation
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment
